Zumba is a fitness dance program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez in the 1990s. Zumba involves elements of dance and aerobics. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included.
Prāṇāyāma is the practice of breathing control in yoga. In modern yoga as an exercise, it involves synchronizing breathing with the movements between the asanas, but it is also a separate breathing exercise in itself, usually performed after the asanas.
